Course Levels

1. Diploma / Foundation in Law

Duration: 1–2 years

2. Bachelor of Laws (LLB) / Undergraduate Law

Duration: 3–4 years

Entry Requirements

1. Diploma / Foundation in Law

  • Educational Qualifications: SSC & HSC / O & A Levels or equivalent.
  • Minimum Grades: Typically 50–65% overall.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS: 5.5–6.0 overall.
  • Other Tests: TOEFL or equivalent accepted.

2. Bachelor of Laws (LLB)

  • Educational Qualifications: High school / HSC / equivalent.
  • Subject Requirements: Some universities may require Mathematics or English as subjects.
  • Minimum Grades: Often 60–70% overall.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS: 6.0–6.5 overall.

3. Master’s in Law (LLM)

  • Educational Qualifications: Recognized Bachelor of Laws (LLB).
  • Work Experience: Optional, but professional legal experience can be advantageous.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS: 6.5–7.0 overall.
  • Additional Requirements: Statement of Purpose (SOP), Letters of Recommendation.

4. PhD / Doctorate in Law

  • Educational Qualifications: Master’s degree in Law or related field.
  • Research Experience: Previous research, publications, or thesis preferred.
  • English Proficiency: IELTS: 7.0+ overall.
  • Supervisor Support: Approval from university faculty required.
