Thailand Visit Visa
Single Entry
Tourist Visa "TR"
Required documents for a standard tourist visa application
- ● An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant
- ● A valid passport for travelling to Thailand with sufficient remaining validity (not less than six months)
- ● One set of passport photocopy — page 1–5, correction page, last Thai visa page & renewal page if any
- ● Two passport-sized photographs (3.5 × 4.5 cm) taken within 6 months
- ● Evidence of adequate finance — Current Bank Solvency and Bank Statement of the last 6 months with satisfactory transactions (at least 60,000 Taka per person and 120,000 Taka per family). Only original Bank Statement and Bank Solvency Letter are acceptable. If sponsored by a company, attach trade license. The Royal Thai Embassy reserves the right to request the applicant's personal Bank Statement.
- ● A certified copy of the identification of the applicant's sponsor, if the applicant submits a sponsor's Bank Statement and the sponsor is not applying together
- ● A copy of air ticket, booking confirmation, or travel itinerary
- ● Visa request letter from the applicant and from office if employed; or travel letter from the educational institute / student card / evidence of school enrollment if student
- ● In case of medical treatment — a copy of appointment letter from a hospital in Thailand and, if applicable, an original letter from a local doctor
- ● Parents' consent letter for applicants aged under 18
- ● Trade license (original notarized English translated and photocopy of the original) if the applicant is a first-time traveler or a proprietor
- ● Proof of employment letter from the employer indicating position and monthly salary; or letter from an educational institute / student card / evidence of school enrollment if student
Multiple Entry
Multiple-Entry Tourist Visa (METV)
To apply for the METV, the applicant must present the following documents
- 1 An application form completely filled out and signed by the applicant
- 2 A valid passport with at least 6 months of validity
- 3 A valid Bangladeshi stay permit or work permit for other nationalities
- 4 One set of passport photocopy — page 1–5, correction page, last Thai visa page & renewal page if applicable
- 5 Two passport-sized photographs (3.5 × 4.5 cm) taken within 6 months
- 6 Evidence of adequate finance — Bank Solvency and Bank Statement with a minimum balance of 500,000 Taka (individual) or 1,000,000 Taka (family) maintained throughout the last 6 months. Only original bank statements and bank solvency letters are acceptable.
- 7 A copy of air ticket, booking confirmation, or travel itinerary
- 8 A copy of hotel reservation confirmation in Thailand (for the first trip)
- 9 Proof of employment letter from the employer indicating position and monthly salary; or letter from an educational institute / student card / evidence of school enrollment if student
- 10 Trade license (a copy of the original and a notarized English-translated copy) if the applicant is a proprietor / self-employed
- 11 Parents' consent letter for applicants aged under 18
